Spent a week in Split and the coworking scene was way different than I expected

I mean, I figured Croatia would have some spots, but the place I went in Split was basically just a cafe with a few extra plugs. It was called 'Hive Hub' and cost about 15 euros a day. The weird part was everyone was super quiet, like library quiet, which I wasn't ready for. Has anyone found a more relaxed coworking spot there, or is that just the vibe?

You said it was "library quiet" like that's a bad thing. Isn't that the whole point of a coworking space, to actually get work done? What were you expecting, a party? It's 15 euros for a desk and wifi, not a social club. Maybe just put some headphones on.

Honestly, terry677 has a point. I had the same thing happen in a spot in Zagreb, dead silent like a study hall. Tbh it felt more like taking a test than getting work done. I ended up just working from my Airbnb because at least I could make a phone call without getting glared at.

Library quiet" for 15 euros a day? That's wild, @jamesm38.
