OKAY but six months is INSANE even if you're being picky. I had mine sorted in like a week and I was hopping between three different continents that month. You might have been trying too hard to use local banks instead of just picking something like Wise or Schwab and moving on. Those traditional banks in random countries WILL make your life miserable for no reason. Just go with what works and stop overthinking it.

Hate to push back but six months sounds way too long. I got my Mercury account in like 2 weeks and Wise was basically instant. Maybe you were overcomplicating it or trying to use some random bank that doesn't actually support nomads. Most major online banks like Revolut or Charles Schwab have you set up in a day. I bounced around three countries in my first month and never had an issue. Just pick a bank that's built for this stuff instead of forcing a traditional one to work.
