Summer heat wrecks my ferments. Help with temperature control?

I've been fermenting veggies (mostly cabbage and carrots) for a bit now, and summer heat ruins my batches. Tried a water bath trick, but it's hit or miss. Any other ideas that won't break the bank?

Ugh, same here. Last summer my ferments went sour too fast. I tried keeping them in the basement, but it's still too warm. Now I use a cooler with ice packs, works way better lol.

Your "summer heat ruins my batches" problem shows our fight against seasons instead of working with them.

Actually, some products require stable conditions to turn out right. Letting summer heat wreck batches means inconsistent results nobody wants. Controlling the environment is just smart production, not a fight.
