I started collecting these when I was a kid, on trips with my parents. The Alaska card was the last piece, and I snagged it from an online auction. Each card has a little note on the back from when I got it. Seeing them all together brings back SO many good memories from the road.
I found my old yo-yo in a box while cleaning the attic. It brought back memories of trying to learn tricks as a kid. I decided to see if I could still do some moves. After a few hours of practice, I nailed the 'around the world' trick. It was a small win, but it made me smile all day. Remembering how hard it was back then made this feel special. Now I'm thinking of teaching my nephew how to do it.
